Lorna Esson – Self Employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser

I started out in Financial Services in a commission only sales role, selling insurance and protection policies. Around eighteen months later I decided I wanted an employed role with all the perks of a basic salary, commission, bonus, company car, pension and eventually health insurance.

That’s when I joined Countrywide in 1988. I’ve built an amazing career in financial services, mastered my trade and honed my skills, all whilst helping thousands of people get their dream home, a mortgage, re-mortgage, build their buy to let portfolio or protect themselves. Making it happen when clients doubted it was possible and educating them on finances in general.

I’ve achieved much success, attended many awards ceremonies and have a wall of certificates to show for it. I have worked with some amazing people and learnt from some great ones over the years. Many became and remain good friends. I thank all those who were with me on my journey.

In June 2022 I decided the corporate world was no longer for me, and became a Self Employed Mortgage and Protection Broker in July 2022. This opportunity fills me with so much excitement, freedom, and flexibility. The future is bright, and I look forward to seeing my business flourish.
